Job van der Meer works with wood, epoxy, iron wire or any material that appeals to the imagination. The idea formed finds its way into his hands that form with craftmanship. The material resists, it forms itself or cooperates. This ‘meeting’ of will is what shapes.
The results of that proces are found on this website. Some artworks are not final results. They will ‘form on’, degenerate, evolve. Every piece changes constantly in the meeting with its ever changing environment.
